Earthquaker Devices Palidades Mega Ultimate Maximum Overdrive
Simply put, the Earthquaker Devices Palisades is the overdrive to end ALL overdrive pedals. While most other makers are rehashing the same old Tube Screamer copies (and some boutique companies are charging you $200 for the privilege of vintage spec components) Earthquaker decided that if they were going to do a TS style pedal they were going to cram every last damn bit of tone control and amazing sound into it as possible. So what the Palisades gives you is ridiculous amount of voicing, tone, gain controls on a two stage gain channel pedal with a third button to add a boost. There are Voice and Bandwidth knobs with six settings each to mix and match grit and eq settings. There's a Normal and Bright switch. There's a Buffer on and off Switch.
It's excessive, it's amazing. It's fucking awesome. End of story.
- Volume, Tone, Boost, Gain A, Gain B Controls
- Voice: This sets the nature of the Palisades distortion by changing the clipping diodes. 1- No diodes: The most open and least distorted. 2- LED clipping: light clipping with a lot of volume. 3- Mosfet clipping: light gain OD with great harmonics. 4- Asymmetrical Silicon clipping: Tighter light gain OD closest to stock 808. 5- Symmetrical silicon clipping: tighter distorted tone. 6- Schottky Diode clipping: Looser fuzzy tone.
- Bandwidth: This sets the overall tone and gain structure of the Palisades. 1 is the thinnest setting with the least amount of gain and 5 is the fattest setting with the heaviest gain. Everything else is in between. This control has a major effect on all the settings of the Palisades, especially the gain and voice controls.

If you are not satisfied in any way with your pedal you can return it for a full refund minus initial shipping costs. If you decide to return the item, please first contact us via email first and we will send you instructions on how to return the item. After item is received and inspected, we will reimburse your source of payment. Shipping costs to return the item will not be reimbursed.
